There are times in ministry when the servant of God needs God Himself to produce evidence verifying the authenticity of his call. It was that way with Moses and Pharaoh:

“And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The Lord hath not appeared unto thee. And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.” Exodus 4:1-3.

It was that way with Elijah.

“And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.” 1 Kings 18: 36.

Today I find myself in a similar place. Recent attacks by the enemy have nudged me back into the audience chamber of God with a slight modification of a prayer uttered 21 years ago. Back then when I pleaded for fire, God answered by fire.

Yes He did.

Full Meal.
